Vehicle geometry is part of the sensor reference

Correct camera or radar hardware can still point incorrectly when ride height, alignment or body geometry is outside specification.

  • Set tyre pressures and confirm correct tyre sizes.
  • Verify wheel alignment and body geometry.
  • Evaluate steering-angle and yaw-sensor zero points.

Static and dynamic calibration are not interchangeable

Some applications require targets, some require a road procedure, and others require both.

  • Identify the exact year, model and sensor variant.
  • Never copy target distance, height or angle from another application.
  • Complete all OEM preconditions before accepting a successful calibration.

Create evidence after the repair

A pre-scan, calibration record and post-scan provide a technical trail for the workshop and vehicle owner.

  • Keep pre- and post-repair scan results.
  • Record calibration result and software level.
  • Verify lane/radar functions under the operating conditions defined by the manufacturer.
