Which systems should be separated?

• CVT, D-CVT, IVT and e-CVT are not the same mechanism; identify belt/chain, planetary, motor-generator and hydraulic architecture.
• For network faults, evaluate source ECU, gateway path, power/ground and wake/sleep behaviour together.

Evidence collection sequence

1. Measure CAN-H/CAN-L bias and termination under the fault condition, not only key-on; capture message timing with source address.

Risk of false generalization

• Wrong fluid/procedure or transmission-family identity distorts fault and fitment diagnosis.
