Measurement and decision sequence

  1. Do not generalize fluid specification before confirming the exact engine/transmission/driveline variant.
  2. Record fluid temperature, condition/odor, contamination and leak source, not only level.
  3. Compare filter, venting, cooler and thermostat behavior with service history.
  4. On CVT, verify the correct fluid family, fill temperature and ratio/pressure behavior together.
